Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Construction Administrator to join our growing team. This position requires a professional with a strong background in managing commercial construction projects, overseeing all phases of project delivery, and a solid understanding of architectural design. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in using Revit for design coordination, planning, and project management, with the ability to integrate architectural vision with construction feasibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple commercial construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Utilize Revit to create, manage, and coordinate project models, ensuring all design changes and construction documents are accurately reflected.
- Oversee project budgets, contracts, and procurement of materials and services, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Conduct on-site project inspections to ensure construction is in compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, addressing any potential issues and providing solutions.
- Resolve conflicts between design, construction, and client requirements, ensuring design integrity is maintained.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, contracts, change orders, and meeting notes.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, local building codes, and zoning laws.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, ideally with a focus on architecture-driven projects.
- Strong proficiency in Revit (mandatory) for model coordination and design documentation.
- Experience managing multiple large-scale commercial construction projects simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, cost estimation, scheduling, and quality control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and mitigate risks during project phases.
